My child has attended Wally’s Club for 3 years. Due to logistics and timing, it is an effort to make it weekly, but my child wouldn’t dream of missing it, and the rewards for our efforts are immeasurable. The highly-skilled staff provide children with a safe environment to explore a structured playdate-like setting. It is during this valuable time that the supported children gain the tools that will allow them to rise to the challenges that social settings bring. Over the years, it has been invaluable to our family to not only be able to see the growth in our child, but to have the gift of the weekly homework. It may seem odd to refer to the homework as a gift, but the facilitators want not only for the child to succeed, but the family as well. We are able to take the tools our child is learning and incorporate them into our family and watch with pride as our child carries many of those life-skills to school with them everyday. The staff takes much joy in what it is that they do and it is of immense comfort to know that our child is dearly cared for by them.
